Integrate existing systems for productivity boost: EFI
Sep 18 2012 11:31:50 , 1038

Businesses can boost productivity just by better integrating existing systems, printers heard at an EFI roadshow.

Business specialist Mark Campbell told guests that reducing the number of touch points between quote, production and invoice would make them more efficient.

"You can see the light come on when business owners and managers realise how much potential there is for productivity improvement just by better leveraging their systems," he said.

EFI received almost 200 registrations for the four events in Auckland (6 September), Melbourne (10 September), Sydney (11 September), Brisbane (12 September).

The roadshow made printers more aware of how they could better exploit their pre-press software, said EFI's regional manager for management systems, Anthony Parnemann.

"EFI has always invested in education and workflow integration is a topic that is very pertinent to printers," he said.

"We hope we’ve been able to show printers not only the benefits of improving end-to-end integration but also how to achieve it within their own businesses with the help of EFI’s productivity solutions."

Parnemann said EFI had made "a significant investment in the region" through its acquisition of Prism and 32 support staff.
