Kodak is showcasing its Nexpress photo platform at Photokina, taking place in Cologne, Germany, from today (September 18th) until September 23rd, aiming to help PSPs 'maximize business growth and attract new customers through high-value applications'.
Demonstrations will include showing how customers can submit photo projects through a Kodak Picture Kiosk integrated with a Kodak Digital Fulfillment System (DFS) for payment and the Nexpress platform for production, the first time Kodak has showed an end-to-end workflow solution for this market.
Kodak will also show how PSPs can capture new business from customers using its Create at Home and Creative Production software and the My Kodak Moments app on Facebook, with the Kodak DFS and Nexpress printer.
Visitors to Kodak's stand will also take away limited-edition photo cards printed using the Nexpress platform's gold and pearlescent inks, featuring work by photographers Louise and Joseph Simone.
Greg Gresock, Kodak’s director of marketing for Electrophotographic Printing Solutions, says: "By combining the proven quality and extensive capabilities of the Nexpress press with new ways to receive digital photo jobs, retailers will find that they can better serve their existing customers and take advantage of new market opportunities to grow their business."
