Marketing solutions trade show Marketing Week Live will next year host an Out of Home Media Zone for the first time. The new zone, which will feature its own conference programme, will be delivered in partnership with the Outdoor Media Centre. The launch follows research at the 2012 event where nearly half of the visitors said they were likely to engage with such an area at the show.
"It’s clear that Out of Home in its various forms, whether traditional or digital, is of real interest to our visitors," explains Paul MacDonald, portfolio director at show organiser Centaur Media. "They are hungry for practical information, meaningful insights and useful contacts to help them understand the opportunities OOH presents. Working with OMC allows us to bring this growing arena to life at the event."
"We’re delighted to be partnering with Marketing Week Live on this initiative," adds Outdoor Media Centre chief executive Mike Baker. "Out of Home is a crucial part of the customer journey and working with the event means we can show marketers OOH in its full context. OOH continues to grow and this is a great opportunity for the industry to showcase and promote its talents and effectiveness."
