MultiTouch has revealed how its MultiTaction displays were used to create what it says is the world's largest multiple contact interactive wall.
The MultiTouch product was chosen from a field of seven for its ability to stack and its rapid touch response for multiple users; it also interacts with tablet devices to deliver information, and infra-red pens can be used for input. Engage Production constructed the wall using 24 of the new 55" UTB MultiTaction cells in the City of London for a 'renowned global company' which wanted to build a new communications facility.
"We know the importance our client places on delivering crucial and relevant presentations in an entertaining and engaging way," comments Steve Blyth, director of Engage Production. "The installation of such a huge videowall as a central feature not only reflects that ethos but also creates an unforgettable visual impact."
Petri Martikainen, chief executive of MultiTouch, adds: "I firmly believe that MultiTaction offers the ultimate in multi-touch technology and it is a privilege to see our products used on such a huge scale in what must be not only the world's biggest but also the world's most technologically advanced multi-touch wall."
