Crystal Display Systems is holding its first open day at its premises in Rochester, Kent, to showcase its range of transparent digital display solutions. The event will take place on October 9th and 10th and will be an opportunity to see the company's extended range of transparent display panels and ClearVue finished solutions.

Products on show at the open days will include the 22" (56cm) and 46" (117cm) transparent glass TFT panels which form the 'guts' of CDS's transparent showcase products, the 10" portable showcase, variations on the standard 22" projects and a freestanding 46" portrait showcase. Touchscreen solutions, media players and industrial PCs will also be on display, as well as some concepts of possible custom solutions.

Applications for the showcases with integrated transparent displays include exhibition stands, retail, hotels, museums and kiosks, the company adds.
