Ocean Outdoor has chosen London's Air Ambulance as its nominated charity and has pledged to work with the flying advanced trauma team to raise funds for its work, the company has announced.
Ocean is using its outdoor digital sites to promote the work of London Air Ambulance, starting with National Air Ambulance Week, from September 24th to 30th. The campaign will see Londoners invited to wear red tomorrow (September 28th) for a donation of £1 towards London Air Ambulance.
"London has just one air ambulance for ten million people and treated more than 2,000 seriously injured people last year," explains Ocean Outdoor marketing manager Helen Beacham. "It’s a service which relies heavily on public donations. By using our premium digital network we can promote the work of the service and help ensure that it continues to save lives."
