On October 5th, the first day of the National Franchise Exhibition saw Signs Express celebrate 20 years since its inception in 1992, when David Corbett and Frank Eliel expanded from a pilot centre in Norwich to award the name to its first adopter.
Signs Express also revealed its new corporate identity and celebrated the success of Gateshead franchisee Malcolm Lant, who is a finalist in the British Franchise Association awards for the second consecutive year. Southampton branch owner Mark Kendall was also present, discussing how he had doubled his business's turnover in three years.
"With a 20-year history and over 70 franchise owners within our network, we are constantly looking to add value to both our franchise offering and wider customer appeal," explains Rebecca Dack, marketing manager.
"We're working on a range of brand new marketing and creative ideas to ensure that the way Signs Express looks and feels in 2012 reflects the fact that we're a company with enormous drive and ambition, as well as a strong heritage."
