The Printing Charity has announced that Lord Black of Brentwood, the executive director of Telegraph Media Group, will take over as the organisation's president in January 2013. Lord Black succeeds his colleague Murdoch MacLennan, Telegraph Media Group chief executive, in the role.

MacLennan comments that he has been 'honoured' to serve as The Printing Charity's president in 2012 in a challenging period of financial and structural turmoil for the printing industry, and emphasises 'the importance of ensuring that people who need help receive it'
