Film and laminator manufacturer Seal says the European launch of its 65 Pro MD laminator attracted a lot of attention at the recent Viscom Frankfurt show. Launched at SGIA Expo in Las Vegas earlier this year, the 65 Pro MD has been 'completely redesigned' and is the first device to feature an Easy Operator Interface (EOI), says Seal.

The touch-controlled EOI allows users to enter commands 'quickly and intuitively' for temperature, speed and direction, cooling fans and roller distance, enabling operators to 'monitor a work process completely from start to finish'. It is also mounted on a swivel pendant arm for 'ultimate flexibility' of operation.

"Our Easy Operator Interface makes working with this wide-format laminator really simple," says Marc Hansing, technical services manager for Seal. "The EOI is a state-of-the-art touchscreen control panel which grants the operator ultimate control and full access to the main functions of the laminator."

The Seal 65 Pro MD can perform both thermal and cold lamination and mounting consecutively, the manufacturer says, thanks to its bi-directional operation. The 1.6m-wide (65") laminator also features easy film and adhesive loading with four cantilevered material supply shafts.
