Mimaki Europe is to expand its operations across the EMEA region in response to a 'surge in demand' during 2012 following a 'raft' of product launches. A new team of sales, marketing, warranty and technical support personnel has already been put in place.

Key to the decision has been the warm reception of platforms such as Mimaki's latex solution with white ink, the JV400 series and new flat-bed UV-LED systems, including the desktop UJF-3042.

"2012 has been a defining year for Mimaki," says Mike Horsten, marketing manager, Mimaki Europe. "The response to our products at trade shows has been universally positive, and for some products to win highly respected industry awards underlines the progress we've made in the last year."
