Formally known as Ink Technologies (ITL), the Cheshire-based business provides alternative small, wide and large-format digital ink-jet inks for manufacturers including HP, Mimaki, Roland, Mutoh, Agfa and Seiko.
On its newly branded website, Digitl Ink displayed the logos from The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), The British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA), and The Speciality Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA), which incorrectly stated that the firm was a member of each association.
The business had previously been a member of the groups when trading as ITL, but had not renewed its contract when rebranding.
Formed in 2001, digital ink manufacturer, ITL, went into receivership and ceased trading in April 2012.
When contacted by the BSGA, Digitl Ink removed all three logos from its homepage.
