Supported by the latest publishing software, the UniFoilPrinter claims to offer users all the benefits of foil printing, on machine designed for short and personalised print runs.

“With our new product, key customers such as copyshops and commercial printers can now offer foil printing for individual or short print runs,” comments Unibind managing director, Tsol Keoshgerian.

The firm says it developed the product in order to ‘plug a gap’ in the foil printing sector between the more basic machines, and high-end contract suppliers.

The UniFoilPrinter is capable of printing on to a range of items,including planners, diaries and yearbooks, as well as photo items such as advertising material and greeting cards.

Keoshgerian explains that this varied ability can help companies expand: “In a stroke, the UniFoilPrinter opens up new markets for foil printing, which previously was only viable for print runs in excess of 500.”
