Sign and display company M4 UK has selected Applelec's flat-faced built-up metal lettering and LEDs to create halo-illuminated signage for Chesterfield College's new 'Heart Space' reception building, which was opened last month by Olympic gold medal-winning heptathlete Jessica Ennis.

The new signage had a lot to live up to, says Applelec, as the existing exterior signage at the site forms an 'iconic landmark on the panorama of the town' with red neon illumination. M4 UK also supplied a commemorative plaque for the college's new Jessica Ennis Sports Hall.
