Roland DG will make its first appearance at the European Packaging Summit in Berlin, Germany next week to showcase its LEC and VersaCAMM VS series of print-and-cut machines for packaging proofing, as well as the ORIS Flex Pack // Web contract proofing solution from CGS Publishing Technologies.
ORIS Flex Pack // Web includes a Roland VersaCAMM VS print-and-cut engine and is designed as a cost-effective, on-demand solution for packaging prototype production, says Roland, which will 'demonstrate [its] true versatility' by printing using white and metallic inks at the show.
Additionally, Roland DG will present an interactive workshop on January 15th entitled 'Latest technology innovations that add value to print', aiming to highlight the company's recent developments in the sector.
"Ink-jet is a technology that is going to have a huge impact on the packaging sector over the next few years and Roland is a pioneer in this area," says Steve Chappell, business manager, Packaging, Proofing and Industrial Labelling, Roland DG UK.
