Primera Technology Label Printers Help Manufacturers Save Time and Money by Bringing Their Label Production In-House
From the entry-level LX-Series color inkjet label printers to the fully digital CX1000 and the productivity-improving CX1200/FX1200, Primera Technology, Inc., the leading manufacturer of specialty printers, provides a full line of products manufacturers of any size can use to print labels in-house to save time and money. Primera Technology label printers allow manufacturers to bring products to market more quickly and produce top-quality labels at an affordable price.
“Each business has its own unique needs and objectives,” noted Mark D. Strobel, Primera’s vice president of sales and marketing. “That’s why we produce a range of products. There’s a Primera printer that fits the production needs of manufacturers of all sizes.”
The LX900 Color Label Printer is the company’s fastest-ever inkjet printer, producing up to 4.5 inches of labels per second. The LX900 keeps ownership costs low with a separate ink cartridge design to enable as-needed replacement. The advanced, replaceable print head delivers sharp text, vivid graphics and photo-realistic printing that surpass the capabilities of any other short-run label printing device on the market. The entry-level option is the LX400, which includes one dye-based color ink cartridge. The LX400 produces high-resolution, 4800-dpi, professional-quality labels and is ideal for short-run and specialty product needs.
Primera’s new CX1000 Color Label Printer is designed for in-house production of professional-grade pre die-cut labels – from 50 to 5,000. Capable of printing on virtually any laser-qualified label material (including pressure-sensitive plain papers, white and clear polyesters and much more), the CX1000 delivers 2400-dpi print resolution and prints at a speed of up to 16.25 feet per minute (five meters per minute).
The CX1200 Color Label Press and FX1200 Digital Finishing System provide 100% digital output to customers and service bureaus in short- to medium-run quantities of up to 10,000 labels per job in any size or shape. It does not require plates and mechanical dies, making it an ideal solution for manufacturers who are looking for ways to control costs and deliver products to market more quickly. It improves manufacturer agility by enabling quick design changes and facilitating production of small or large quantities of labels of photographic quality.
