Graphic Printing Technologies (GPT) says it has used its extensive experience and expertise to develop a unique printer based on an existing Mimaki machine.  The new GPT 190s delivers double the print speed of a Mimaki JV33 and can only be purchased from GPT. It is a 1.9m wide printer and incorporates double print heads (as the JV34 260) to deliver the additional speed.

The printer has been created by adapting an existing Mimaki textile printer and includes a full Mimaki warranty, Mimaki inks and Mimaki RIP.  The GPT 190s also has an optional trough for unbacked mesh materials, and an optional Mimaki bulk ink system for cheaper ink costs.

Stuart Cole, general manager of GPT, says, “This is what many of our customers have requested. It provides all the benefits of the JV33 160, more akin to the JV34 for speed with the double heads, a unique 1.9mtr print width, and is incredibly good value for money.

The new printer will be available exclusively from GPT from January 2013.
