A growing number of packaging associations have added their weight to the line-up of companies supporting North Print & Pack 2013 and are urging their members to attend the UK print and packaging event. The Institute of Packaging Professionals and The Packaging Society are the latest associations to align themselves with North Print & Pack 2013. The event takes place between 14th and 16th May 2013 in Harrogate.
North Print & Pack 2013 will see wider industry coverage than ever before by including print for packaging, while working presses will return to the show floor for the first time since 2007. It will also present a comprehensive conference programme that will cover the latest trends and issues in the industry today.
The Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) launched its first branch outside the US in May 2012, to offer a range of education and networking opportunities for packaging designers, specifiers and suppliers in the UK. Kevin Vyse, Managing Director of the IoPP, comments: “North Print & Pack 2013 is the ideal event for packaging printers and print service providers looking to expand their offering. Not only will they have the opportunity to speak to the industry’s key manufacturers who will all be under one roof, but the seminar programme will give them the added benefit to hear case studies and advice that can benefit them and their businesses. For the print for packaging industry, North Print & Pack will be the key UK event in 2013 for our members to attend.”
The Packaging Society, which provides career and training support to packaging design, packaging technology, packaging development, compliance and branding industries professionals, will also be taking part in the conference programme. Keith Barnes, Chairman of The Packaging Society, says, “We are really pleased to be involved with North Print & Pack 2013. It is an ideal event for us and our members to attend, as it’s the perfect platform to view and discuss the latest print for packaging market trends and case studies. We look forward to working closely with the organisers over the next few months and getting our members involved with the show.”
Angelina Stojsavljevic, Marketing Manager for North Print & Pack 2013, adds, “The fantastic level of support we are getting from the UK’s packaging industry is testimony to the industry’s need for an event that reflects the appetite of the print industry. We will be working closely with these associations in the upcoming months to ensure their members reap the benefits from attending North Print & Pack 2013.With an increasing number of exhibitors showcasing print on packaging, together with the significant percentage of visitors looking to invest in these solutions, North Print & Pack promises to deliver a first class event that will answer these needs.”
