Canon takes largest stand at Hunkeler Innovationdays to highlight digital print growth
Canon is once again inviting PSPs to 'see the bigger picture' when it exhibits at the Hunkeler Innovationdays next month. The manufacturer will have the biggest presence at the show and its stand will include application galleries and user case studies to offer 'inspiration and ideas'.
Equipment on show will include the Océ ColorStream 3900, which will be configured for two different applications: roll-to-roll with inline document processing provided by a Hunkeler Dynamic Puncher and Perforator and roll-to-fold to cut-and-stack inline production of signature book blocks. Canon will also demonstrate Océ's Prisma workflow software.
The company will also showcase its cross-media proposition, DirectSmile, and aim to show the value of combining print and digital media, plus EFI's Digital StoreFront web-to-print solution.
"I'm delighted to be back at Hunkeler Innovationdays again and for the first time under the Canon brand, after the acquisition of Océ," says Peter Wolff, head of the Commercial Print Group, Canon Europe. "Once customers have identified a specific opportunity, Canon is now better positioned than ever as a one-stop business partner to help them take advantage of it through a vastly expanded product and solutions portfolio and consultancy and service capabilities that are second to none."
