UK and Ireland Mimaki distributor Hybrid Services has been presented with an award for 'Most Pioneering Piece of Machinery' at this year's Trophex trade show, for the Mimaki UJF-3042HG. The A3 UV-LED printer is 'perfect' for photo-quality promotional items and giftware, Hybrid notes.

Hybrid Services's industrial products manager Mike Lewis accepted the award from Kylie Gould, editor of Trophy and Engraving News. "Recognition for the Mimaki UJF-3042HG as a pioneering solution from such an important industry for the product is very satisfying," he comments. "We're seeing the companies who invest in technology like this machine benefiting immensely from the revenue opportunities it can deliver."

The sister product to Mimaki's UJF-3042FX desktop printer, the UJF-3042HG boasts a head height of 150mm, a six-colour plus white and clear ink-set and a 'newly-developed white ink circulation system' which is designed to prevent pigment sedimentation whilst reducing ink wastage for more efficient consumption.
