Sign-making and wide-format print equipment supplier Grafityp has launched a new range of 'top level' vinyl cutters from GCC. The RX series boasts a host of innovative features, says Grafityp, and offers speeds of up to 1.53m per second.

The RX cutters also feature adjustable pinch roller pressure, allowing for the cutting of materials ranging from window films to standard vinyls to sandblast rubber and reflective films, aided by cutting pressure adjustable up to 600g force.

Each model in the RX series also offers an auto-sheet-off facility, which Grafityp says is 'a big help during unattended workflow and mass production'. In addition, a new interface allows the user to set up multiple parameters for each job using different coloured lines, giving the operator 'greater flexibility'.

Grafityp also notes that the RX range gives 'true' cutting widths, meaning a 0.61m machine will cut at 0.61m wide. Widths available are 0.61m for 0.81m-wide material, 1.016m for 1.326m material, 1.32m for 1.635m material and 1.83m wide for 2.145m maximum material width.

The new range can be viewed at Grafityp's Tamworth showroom, and will also be demonstrated at forthcoming trade shows including Printwear and Promotion 2013, Sign and Digital UK and FESPA 2013.
