Spot On Press founder and president Bruce Bayne has become one of just 15 printing professionals globally to earn Printing Standards Audit (PSA) Consultant certification. PSA is a 'rigorous, objective process' for assessing standards compliance in a printing workflow.

Bayne, who already holds Gracol certification, undertook the training with the Printing Applications Laboratory at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York state, USA, under the guidance of printing standards authority Dr Robert Chung in association with Idealliance.

Chung notes that in spite of a tough final exam, all the participants in the two-day training programme passed.
