ISE increases audience again in tenth showing

ISE featured almost 900 exhibitors from the audiovisual, videoconferencing, embedded computing and digital signage sectors

Integrated Systems Europe reports that 44,151 visitors attended its tenth event last week, representing an eight-percent increase since the previous outing. The organiser says this makes it 'the best-attended AV trade show ever held anywhere in the world'.

"Few who attended our inaugural event in 2004 could have imagined just how big, how interconnected and how inclusive ISE would become within less than a decade," states Mike Blackman, managing director of organiser Integrated Systems Events.

"ISE 2013 demonstrated more clearly than ever that the electronic systems integration industry is capable of defying economic headwinds and encouraging its stakeholder companies toward continued growth."

This year's show occupied all twelve halls of the RAI, Amsterdam. While some exhibitors have been present for all ten years, the company notes that 500 companies have reserved space for 2014, representing 75 percent of next year's anticipated footprint.

Blackman concludes: "What we clearly see emerging now at ISE is a fresh wave of exhibitors that are building their businesses on the back of their ability to inspire new connections, greater collaboration and, perhaps above all, wonderful content."
