North Print and Pack, sales manager, Mary Buck hopes that the confirmation of such a big name will act as a catalyst for others to sign up for the exhibition
The news is a shot in the arm for the exhibition, which so far has around 30 exhibitors, and organiser’s Informa Print Group, following its IPEX struggles.
Danny Morris, regional sales director, at EFI Northern Europe says that the realigned focus of the show to include digital print for packaging, was a big factor behind its booking.
He adds: “It’s exciting to see North Print and Pack 2013 reinventing itself and adding the packaging market to its target audience.
“EFI will use North Print and Pack as a unique platform to show its end-to-end workflows for both the packaging and commercial printing sectors, from job submission with Digital StoreFront W2P to the Fiery digital front-end that drives more digital printing than any other RIP.”
The exhibition’s sales manager, Mary Buck says that the commitment from a blockbuster name like EFI will, ‘act like a magnet’ for similar products to be added to the show.
Registration for May’s show at the Harrogate International Centre opened last week, with Informa hoping to bounceback from what was a disappointing 2011 show.
