Milan-based media manufacturer Guandong has added a 'one-of-a-kind' new product to its range of window graphics substrates called One Way Vision Polymeric 18660, which has been specially developed to work with both Mimaki's and HP's latex technology.
The perforated vinyl boasts 'high quality performances in terms of chromatic effects and solidity', says Guandong, and is suited to static or dynamic window decorations. Available now in quantities of 1.37m x 50m, One Way Vision Polymeric 18660 boasts a cadmium-free PVC surface, developed to provide long-lasting, odourless and scratch-resistant output, the company adds.
"Latex is a young printing technology within the miscellaneous world of graphic arts, and in spite of that, it is picking up support among printing operators thanks to inks properties in relation with specific applications," says Fabio Elmi, sales and marketing director, Guandong. "Performances of this printing technology can be further improved by using ad hoc materials, such as our Polymeric 18660, which emphasise the advantages of latex printing.
"We have received a positive feedback from our European distributors and we can thus predict a great success for our new OWV Polymeric 18660," Elmi concludes.
