The organisers of industrial print show InPrint 2014 have announced a 3D Print Forum which will run during the event in Hannover between April 8th and 10th 2014. The move recognizes the 'growing role' that 3D print has within manufacturing and design.
"This exciting technology is grabbing the attention of the world, and with the recent launch of 4D printing at the TED Conference in California in February, it makes sense for us to profile this rapidly growing area of technology and its awesome potential within the manufacturing sector to enrich the InPrint show," adds Marcus Timson, co-director, InPrint.
The conference programme will feature 'speakers, experts, case studies of technology and innovation' from the 3D and 4D printing industries, focusing on the integration of the technology into manufacturing and design processes.
InPrint organiser FM Brooks also announced today that 40 percent of the floor space for the show has been sold more than a year before the show is due to open. "There is no doubt that there is a high demand and enthusiasm for InPrint, a trade show that is focused upon showcasing innovation in industrial print technologies within the manufacturing process," notes Frazer Chesterman, director, FM Brooks.
