Scala is set to demonstrate 'innovative communication solutions' with HP and Samsung at Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE), March 12th to 13th at London's Earls Court exhibition centre. Interactive solutions, such as a loyalty card and behaviour profiling concept, will be showcased on its partners' stands.
At the HP booth, Scala will demonstrate its new Digital Retail Concierge solution, which it says 'combines the concept of a customer loyalty card with shopping behaviour profiling and wayfinding'. On entering a store, the customer scans a loyalty card which then triggers a 'wish list' of five items based on historical purchases appearing on an interactive screen. The customer can then see additional information about the items or use a 'Find It' button to locate the item on a store map. In-store Facebook and Twitter integration will also be shown.
In addition, on both Samsung's and HP's stands, Scala will showcase integration with tablets using its Fling solution, which allows the users to transfer content from tablet to screen with the flick of a finger. Scala expects Fling to be well-suited to salespeople on a store floor, enabling them to present information about a product to prospective customers.
