Mimaki redirects 2014 trade show focus towards supporting FESPA

Mimaki says it is re-directing its 2014 trade show focus away from shows such as Ipex in London and is looking instead to the German based FESPA Digital 2014 show which will be held in Munich where the company plans to target companies operating in the sign, wide format and textile printing sectors.

In 2012 Mimaki launched a raft of new products at tradeshows across Europe, spurring the company to establish a dedicated EMEA operation. This, says Mimaki, is why it has decided to participate at FESPA Digital in 2014 rather than at shows such as Ipex so that it can continue to build on this European momentum.

Mike Horsten, marketing manager of Mimaki EMEA says: “2012 was a very big year for us in Europe. We launched lots of new products, attended lots of exhibitions, and were lucky enough to walk away with some industry awards. Having made such great strides in Europe, it makes more sense that we attend FESPA (in 2014), where we can strengthen our relationships with our customers, partners and prospects in this key region. We’re looking forward to show and see it as the ideal platform to share ideas with like-minded individuals, and engage with print professionals, brands and designers from across Europe.”

Mimaki will also be exhibiting at FESPA 2013 in London.
