The Israeli founder of EFI and Scitex, Efi Arazi, has died on Sunday at the age of 76. Described by some as the 'father of Israeli high-tech', Arazi's achievements also included helping develop the technology that allowed the first moon landing to be recorded on video.
Arazi gained a place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology despite not having completed high school as he was an 'extraordinary case', the Associated Press quotes his friend Nehemia Shtrasler as saying. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
