'Stimulating sign and touch' will be the focus for Kodak at next month's Grafitalia show, taking place in Milan, Italy, between May 7th and 11th. Kodak Nexpress solutions and Prinergy workflow systems will be the centre of its product portfolio.
Among the demonstrations at its stand, Kodak will show the range of finishes achievable with the Nexpress Fifth Imaging Unit Solutions and the Nexpress Digital Production Colour Press. Spot colours, gold and pearlescent effects will be showcased, as well as 'unique' in-line dimensional printing, gloss, watermarking and single-pass coating. Kodak will highlight the possibilities for using the machine's 914mm width, such as panoramic publications.
Two workstations running Prinergy Workflow System Version 6 will demonstrate customisable automation, third-party integration and unified job management, says Kodak. Integration with Kodak's Insite Prepress Portal System will show PSPs how secure web access for customers and production operatives can help track progress, improve collaboration and reduce proofing and approval times.
Other kit on show at Grafitalia will include Kodak's Sonora XP Process Free plates and the Prosper S5 Imprinting System.
