The organisers of Sign and Digital UK says this year's event was a 'huge success' with a total of 5,677 unique visitors attending. Exhibitors reported 'brisk' sales at the show, and have also boosted pitch sales for 2014's exhibition by 44 percent.
The show featured UK and European launches for equipment from manufacturers including Mimaki, Roland, Epson, Mutoh, MTex, Dyss and Zünd, and exhibitors witnessed plenty of interest and footfall despite concerns from some prior to the event that the forthcoming FESPA 2013 in London may impact visitor numbers and sales leads.
"We experienced a 60 percent increase in leads over 2012's Sign and Digital UK, which was amazing and went to show that the two exhibitions can co-exist on the same small island even within seven weeks of each other," comments Paul Bates, Esko business manager UK and Eire.
Roland DG's Brett Newman declared the show 'a real success for Roland', while Duncan Jefferies of UK and Ireland Mimaki distributor Hybrid Services called the show 'very strong' and 'highly effective'.
Organisers also confirmed that next year's show will take place on April 30th to May 2nd in Hall 2 of Birmingham's NEC.
