Ricoh reports that it views last week's North Print and Pack exhibition as a 'success', with 130 leads emerging from the visitors to its stand. Its Pro C901 GA plus, which can print duplex onto cut-sheet media up to SRA3, printed the show's North Print and Pack Daily newspaper in conjunction with publishing house Earth Island.
Stephen Palmer, director for production print in the UK and Ireland for Ricoh, explains that presence in the packaging sector was also important for his firm. "Digital is still in its relative infancy in the packaging sector, and there are many questions from packaging companies around how it can enhance and complement their existing business," he explains.
"The show provided us with a great opportunity to demonstrate this in a relaxed environment and get closer to these customers and encourage them to learn more about what digital print can now offer."
Ricoh also used North Print and Pack to present the C5110S digital colour cut-sheet engine, itsTotalFlow workflow package and its Business Driver Programme to visitors.
