The solvent-UV JV400-SUV will be one of the highlights on Mimaki's stand at FESPA 2013

Mimaki has announced a new range of cutting plotters, LX101 latex ink for the JV400-130/160 machines and the introduction of the solvent-UV JV400-SUV for FESPA 2013. The latter was first shown as a prototype at FESPA 2012, and it will begin shipping from July 1st this year.

Mimaki's CG-SRIII cutting plotters will make their European debut, demonstrating speeds of between 70 and 100cm/s, 'best-in-class' 500g cutting pressure and continuous crop mark detection. The LX101 ink-set sees the addition of orange and green as well as a high-density black to deliver a broader colour gamut and sharper details.

Available in 1.3 and 1.6m widths, the JV400-SUV series represents Mimaki's first foray into solvent-UV technology, offering the vibrancy of solvent inks with the quick turnaround of UV-curing. It will be demonstrated with Mimaki's RasterLink6 RIP software.

"Mimaki is dedicated to providing tools and solutions that enable users to reduce time to market and increase productivity and profitability," says Mike Horsten, general manager of marketing, Mimaki EMEA."This is exactly what visitors will see when the JV400-SUV with RasterLink6 is demonstrated at the show. We will be holding special live demonstrations of the RIP in our unique 'Mimaki Design Aquarium' – a must-see at FESPA."
