Mimaki reseller GPT says it is 'excited' at the prospect of the new Mimaki JV400-SUV solvent-UV machine to be launched next month at FESPA 2013. The supplier says it thinks that the printer could be the 'next big thing' in the market, and has already ordered a demonstration unit.

"From what we have seen so far, the JV400-SUV printer could be truly revolutionary," comments Stuart Cole, general manager, GPT. "It ensures printed media is ready to be used immediately after printing. With no degassing required, the Mimaki JV400-SUV will dramatically improve work efficiency.

"The Mimaki JV400-SUV range has exceptionally high durability, minimising the requirement for lamination," he adds. "This comes from its unique ink recipe and print process, which is ideal for any application where a combination of vibrant colour and a long lasting, scratch resistant print is important.
