EFI has further expanded its productivity software business unit with the acquisition of Belgian MIS developer GamSys Software for an undisclosed sum. The announcement follows similar acquisitions of printLeader last month and Technique in November 2012.

GamSys currently has a base of more than 400 customers in Europe, built up over 14 years by co-founder and chief executive Patrick Vreven who will now take on the role of director of EFI GamSys. Support and operations will be integrated into EFI's existing ERP and MIS arm whilst continuing to improve GamSys's product offerings, and its customers will also be able to benefit from the Fiery digital front-end, says EFI.
