[L-R] Andrew Pang will succeed outgoing managing director Christian Knapp at KBA UK

Printer manufacturer Koenig and Bauer Group (KBA) has announced that Andrew Pang will succeed Christian Knapp as managing director of the wholly-owned subsidiary KBA UK. Pang has been with the company since 2007, and has worked across the sheetfed and consumables divisions.

"Andrew is taking the reins of a very successful UK operation with its continued focus on customer satisfaction," comments Knapp. "He joined us six years ago to complement an already strong management team and the decision to recruit from within demonstrates KBA's priority on building and sustaining long-term relationships here in the UK and in Ireland."

Pang, who joined the company from KBA user Butler and Tanner, adds: "Having been a KBA customer helped me to understand the printer's demands of their press suppliers – both in terms of everyday support and as a long-term business partner. In the very difficult trading conditions we face today I am acutely aware that we have to constantly look at the way we respond to our customers' demands in order to provide a tailored product and service."
