Mimaki has announced a further addition to its line-up of launches at FESPA 2013, in the shape of the UJV500-160 UV-LED machine. The 1.6m-wide printer features a brand new LUS-200UV ink-set, formulated jointly with 3M.

"When these inks are applied onto 3M media and installed using 3M guidelines, they carry the prestigious 3M MCS Warranty, widely recognised as the industry's most comprehensive finished graphics warranty," explains Mike Horsten, general manager of marketing, Mimaki EMEA. "It covers fading, cracking, peeling and other aspects of graphic performance."

The printer and inks will be available this summer, while the LUS-150 white ink for the UJV500-160 will follow in September.
