Pod Iberia will launch two new models in its MTex line of specialist textile machines at FESPA 2013, the company has announced. The 3.2m-wide MTex 5032 direct-to-textile machine is 'perfect' for light-boxes, home décor and flags, while details on the MTex Turbosub are yet to be released.

The 5032's integrated fixation unit minimises waste while the single footprint saves space, says POD. It will print 58sq m/hr at 1,400dpi, and offers 'brilliant and vivid colours' as well as intense blacks 'at a standard never seen before at this price point'. The list price of the MTex 5032 is expected to be €159,900 (￡135,757). The manufacturer has released a series of videos to introduce the new machines, as well as their existing siblings.
