Designed and constructed as a sturdy, attractively priced print production system, the new Anapurna M3200 RTR is the latest cost-effective wide-format printer from Agfa Graphics. This dedicated 3.2m roll-to-roll UV-curable system is ideal for users wanting to print onto a variety of flexible premium and lower cost materials. It provides businesses with an eco-friendly print solution, which uses less ink and lower amounts of energy. In conjunction with Agfa Graphics’ Asanti workflow for the sign and display market, users benefit from an integrated production solution, which not only provides consistent quality but also minimises errors and saves time.

The Anapurna M3200RTR features six colours and a maximum 1440 dpi for high print quality with the largest gamut. It benefits from the latest print-head technology that guarantees accurate droplet placement for excellent results with both graduated tints and solid areas. Its colour fidelity gives it the capabilities needed for the production of a broad range of applications on flexible materials, including top quality banners, output onto self-adhesive vinyls, and front- and back-lit graphics.

In common with the other solutions in the Anapurna portfolio from Agfa Graphics, the Anapurna M3200RTR benefits from durable UV-curable inks, making it suitable for interior and exterior applications. With more than 50m2 per hour production on the floor, this six-colour printer outperforms most flat-bed and hybrid solutions in this market segment, making it the true production tool that is designed for heavy work-loads.

Agfa Graphics' Anapurna M3200 RTR supports dual roll printing, which is ideal for sign-makers, display producers and commercial print shops who need the full width of a 3.2m wide printer but also want to run jobs next to each other at a sensible price. Its production standards and ease of use are complemented by efficient material loading and handling

“Most UV-curable production printers designed to ease the transition away from solvent-based engines carry a heavy price tag. We have developed the Anapurna M3200 RTR to be a reliable and good quality system at a sensible and attractive cost,” states Willy Van Dromme, Director of Marketing Wide Format at Agfa Graphics. “As a result, we expect to see high levels of interest in this workhorse, including software, when it makes its first appearance at FESPA 2013 in London.”
