POD Ibéria has released more details about its MTex Turbo Sub 1.8m dye-sublimation printer, coinciding with the machine's début on the wide-format scene at FESPA 2013 in London today.

The MTex Turbo Sub – which in full configuration, including in-line fixation, extraction filter and software – comes in at just under €135,000 (￡114,800) and claims to print at three times the speed of any other comparable engine at 110sq m/hr. It sports Ricoh Gen5 print-heads, producing resolution up to 1,200dpi, a two-litre bulk ink system and advanced media feeding, according to Pod.
