EFI is set to demonstrate a 'comprehensive range' of UV-curable machines at FESPA 2013, opening at London's Excel today, alongside its workflow and MIS solutions. The new HS100 Pro will make its UK début, EFI confirms.
The 'Pin and Cure' precision lay-down technology inside the HS100 Pro will be demonstrated on EFI's stand, as well as its gloss control for different surface finishes. EFI will also celebrate more than 100 'cool cure' UV-LED installations world-wide since the launch of the platform at FESPA 2010. The company will highlight the environmental credentials of LED curing, as well as 50 percent print volume gains over the non-LED VUTEk GS machines reported by users.
EFI will also showcase a new thermoforming ink formulation able to produce 'deeply formed applications on thermoplastic media', designed to withstand post-process heat forming, cutting and routing. The inks are optimised for use with the new VUTEk GS3250 Pro-TF and GS2000 Pro-TF models, it says.
Software on display will include EFI Fiery XF Version 5, featuring a new Web Control Centre for remote proofing, alongside ERP and MIS solutions Pace and PrintSmith Vision, Digital StoreFront web-to-print and EFI's new SmartSign Analytics measurement tool for static signage.
