IMI Asia is to host the well-established course, Ink Jet Academy: Theory of Ink Jet Technology, in China for the first time in October this year. More than 3,000 participants have attended this course during the past 14 years, when it has been held in the USA, Europe and India.
IMI president, Al Keene, says: "Understanding the basics is essential to any development or technology implementation. The Ink Jet Academy's one-day course covers the basic theory behind the many types of ink-jet technology in use today and aims to give your understanding of the industry an expert start."
Amanda Russell, conferencing and training partner at Inkjet Partnership adds: "On the course you’ll learn how print-heads work, what materials are used in their fabrication and the theory of their operation. You'll also find out about inks and media, how they are formulated and used, and about supply and support systems."
The course assumes a basic scientific knowledge and is designed to provide useful background information for anyone entering the ink-jet industry, seeking an update on today’s technology or looking for further fields of development.
