Apex Digital Graphics has announced that it will début the new B2 format Ryobi 760E 'space saving' offset-litho press at Print Efficiently 2013, which will be held at its Hemel Hempstead showroom from October 1st – 3rd and October 8th – 10th 2013. It will be the first demonstration of the Ryobi 760E in the UK.
The Ryobi 760E requires less space than its predecessors thanks to a new style of footboard and the incorporation of a Ryobi PCS-K printing control system above the delivery section of the machine. It provides a maximum printing area of of 765 x 545mm for its S type press (765 x 580mm for the XL type) and can print up to 13,000 sheets per hour.
The new press can accommodate paper weights from 0.04mm up to 0.6mm for straight printing, with a maximum of 0.4mm for perfecting. It can also be augmented with Kodak's Prosper-series digital imprinting machinery, creating a hybrid press.
