Graphics production house Oasis has added a 1.52m HP Z6200 printer to its roster of aqueous printers, a move the company hopes will allow it to handle increased capacity while still maintaining print quality.
The new wide-format printer adds to Oasis's water-based output capabilities, which also consists of two Canon printers. The company believes that the new addition will give them improved print speed, efficiency and capacity.
The HP Z6200 can be used to print onto canvas, paper and back-lit films. Its eight-colour ink system is designed to create uniform gloss with less of a bronzing effect, while still allowing for the reproduction of a broad colour gamut.
"One of our newest clients asked us if we could match the output from their previous large-format print supplier, who used a Z6200 for their work," says Oasis managing director Simon Osborne. "This proved to be the perfect opportunity to respond to a customer need and expand our capabilities simultaneously."
