Following a successful début of a number of updated products at FESPA 2013, wide-format software specialist Caldera is predicting a boost in the popularity of its products.

Caldera reports that the latest version of its Flow+ workflow system proved its most attractive of the exhibition, while other products that received interest included its fully integrated RIP and web-to-print capabilities.

Variable Display, Caldera's digital signage solution, was also showcased at the show. Caldera hopes that its combined software and hardware package will prove popular as it looks to invest in and expand its digital signage offering.

"FESPA 2013 was a landmark show for Caldera," says Caldera's chief executive officer Joseph Mergui. "We are at the beginning of a new global push, reaching further than our position in the top echelons of wide-format software into vital new markets."

Sébastien Hanssens, vice-president of marketing and communications at Caldera, adds: "We are delighted with the reaction we received at FESPA 2013, not only for our new offerings but also for our established RIP and workflow solutions."

Caldera expects to present continued product development at various exhibitions throughout the year.
