Glendining Signs has purchased its third HP Scitex FB500 in two years as the company responds to customer demand for direct-to-substrate digital printing. As 80 percent of the company's production output is on rigid substrates, the technology is estimated to have increased productivity while reducing factory space.

"A key factor in choosing the HP Scitex FB500 was the continuous substrate feed using a moving belt rather than a fixed bed," says Chris Lake, operations director at Glendining Signs. "This production method fits in perfectly with our fast-paced requirements."
