drupa has announced that it will carry out a series of global surveys to ascertain how best the print industry might adapt to future challenges. The reports will focus on individual markets, as well as looking at trends, innovations and market potential internationally.
"In view of the fundamental structural changes in the print industry, current and comprehensive information and market data are more important than ever," says Werner Dornscheidt, president and chief executive officer of Messe Düsseldorf. "As a key partner of the print industry, drupa will support the market proactively in this way.
"With these new tools we can provide our exhibitors and the industry as a whole with important new insights thereby delivering vital information for strategic decision making."
The results of the surveys will published as reports at www.drupa.de, with four planned between now and 2016. As well as its trend reports, drupa will publish a 'Barometer' to track key sectors and emerging trends across the industry, with the results published four times a year.
