At FESPA Durst demonstrated their latest inkjets featuring high speed printing and very fine detail due to small drops and Variodrop technology. The first was the Rho 1000 Series, their flagship range of high end flatbed printers.
The Rho Series offer the highest level of flexibility, with a choice of different levels of automation, and they are ideally suited for integration into an industrial production line. Featured on the stand was the Rho 1012 with a very small drop size of only 12 picolitres which provides the highest resolution printing whilst maintaining a productivity of up to 490 sqm per hour at 1000 dpi. There was the latest addition to their super-wide Rho 500R Series roll to roll printers which also features a very small drop size providing exceptional print quality without loss of productivity. It also offers a high level of media flexibility and will print 3 x 1.6 m rolls together. Following Durst’s objective of providing inkjet technology for use in new and exciting markets, visitors to the Durst stand could view the latest addition to their Rhotex textile printers. Durst Variodrop and Greyscale featured in the highly successful Rho P10 Series of printers. The new Variodrop technology provides up to 25 increase in output. Durst is capable of providing digital decoration to virtually all surfaces within a building’s interior. They also demonstrated examples of wallpaper, wood flooring, home textiles, glass and ceramics.
