The 2013 event took place between August 21st – 23rd 2013

Sign Africa has expressed delight with its 2013 edition, claiming 'valuable' sales, networking opportunities and an audience drawn from across the continent at its Johannesburg, South Africa exhibition.

This year saw the last Sign Africa trade show before the event is merged with Visual Communication Africa to create FESPA Africa events from 2014. Launching next year at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, the company hopes that the merger will allow for a bigger, more effective trade show event for the African print industry.

"Our established Conference – addressed by international industry experts – and our brand new hands-on Training Zone ensured there was something for everyone," asserts organiser Dylan Copeland. "The growing support we're receiving across the continent gives us confidence that the Expo is satisfying a very real business need."

Many of the exhibitors at the show were pleased with the response from visitors.
"The show was great," comments Graphix Supply World sales director Darryl Braithwaite. "Visitors were there to purchase equipment, not just look, and we sold all the machines on our stand with orders for more."
