Hollanders has announced its intention to introduce its new digital textile printer at SGIA Expo in Orlando, Florida. The Netherlands-based manufacturer, appearing at the event for the first time, will début its ColorBooster 250, a wide-format textile printer that will appear on the market in early 2014. Also showcased at the event will be Hollanders's 3.2m ColorBooster XL and its double-sided ColorBooster DS model.
A low-end machine, the ColorBooster 250 boasts a low cost at a popular standard width of 2.5m. According to the manufacturer, the model can be used to create interior applications with dye sublimation inks, while when used with direct disperse dyes the machine is suitable for producing wide-format graphics for both indoor and outdoor use.
"Research and enquiries have demonstrated to us that there is a strong market for a cost-effective solution that suits businesses entering the textile sector for the first time and want a modestly priced machine," says Peter Hollanders, owner of Hollanders Printing Systems. "Our new system provides the perfect option and we see the American market as an important area for growth."
