The new purpose-built showroom at Colourbyte is designed to showcase the myriad diversification paths open to wide-format equipped printers

“There is a perception that wide-format printers are only good for big vinyl banners at lower resolutions, but we will be showing some stunning results on our range of canvases, wallcoverings, window films, and even high-quality photo papers that are both highly durable and completely water resistant,” says Tim Stockley, director of Colourbyte.

The Hemel Hempstead-based company has made an open invitation to sign-makers to come and visit its new creation on September 18th and 19th for a micro-exhibition entitled ‘Connect with Colourbyte’.

There is a perception that signage printers are only good for big vinyl banners at lower resolutions, but we will be showing some stunning results on our range of canvases, wallcoverings, window films, and even high-quality photo papers

With a specialist system for producing screen film separations using Epson printers also due to go on show, Stockley adds: “We want to show owners of printers using water-based pigment ink just how good the new Epson SureColor signage printers really are.”

Colourbyte will also be showcasing the high level of technology integration now possible with the latest equipment—demonstrating its range of raster image processors (RIPs), Graphtec’s cutting systems, laminating kit from Vivid, and its own series of inkjet consumables.
